Sandnes Stadium is located centrally in Sandnes, about one kilometer from the city center. The Stadium is home to the Norwegian football team, Sandnes Ulf, and is used by the athletics team in Sandnes IL for training sessions and competition. The capacity is around 5,000 spectators. A number of national and international athletics events have been held in Sandnes over the past 10 years:
