TEAMS

The European Athletics Team Championship is a competition where the athletes compete as a nation rather than individually over a three-day period.

First League is the second division of the competition. The winner is promoted to the Super League, the top division. Until 2017 the competition was held every year – except Olympic years. Since then the competition has been arranged every second year. Last time in Vaasa (FIN) in 2017. In August 2019 it will be held in Sandnes (NOR).
